Biosecurity workshops were developed and delivered to youth in Minnesota to encourage positive changes, with long-term outcomes of healthier animals. Learning gains were significant for all participants, and the participants retained this knowledge over time. Most participants had good intentions of making changes because of the workshops, and follow-up survey results showed that the participants implemented changes, validating that youth are agents for behavior change.
