The reaction involved the combination of oxoindolinylidene malononitrile, ethyl 2-arylamino-4-dioxo-4-arylbutanoates, hydrazonoyl chlorides, ammonium acetate, and ethyl bromopyruvate in an aqueous solution at room temperature. The presence of Ag/Fe<sub>3</sub>O<sub>4</sub>@MWCNTs MNCs intensified the reaction. This study examines the antioxidant properties of pyrroloimidazoles, in addition to other investigations undertaken within the same study.
