Through a systematic review of the relevant literature, we found the significant advantages and application scenarios of proteomics technology in disease diagnosis, drug development, and personalized treatment. However, the review also identifies the challenges facing proteomics technologies, including sample preparation of low-abundance proteins, massive amounts of data analysis, and how research results can be better used in clinical practice. Abstract
