Abstract
Due to long-term service, the mechanical properties of pressure pipelines degrade. The cured-in-place pipe lining repair technology can strengthen the mechanical properties of pipelines. The mechanical properties of pipelines repaired with CIPP lining under reverse fault action need to be studied. In this study, the finite element (FE) method is used to establish a model for CIPP pipeline repair under reverse fault action. And the FE model is evaluated by other literature results. Afterwards, the impact of some parameters on the pipeline was analyzed. The research results found that as the distance and angle of fault slip increase, the stress and strain in the pipeline continues to increase, which is very detrimental to pipeline safety. And the impact range of reverse fault on the pipelines is about 10 m. The research results can provide reference for trenchless repair of the pressure pipes.
