Participants were evaluated by measuring mean chest compression depth, chest compression pauses time, the proportion of compressions with correct compression depth, mean chest compression rate, and mean ventilation volume.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>After initial training, the two groups of participants showed similar results in terms of chest compression depth and chest compression rate. There were significant differences in chest compression pauses time, proportion of compressions with correct compression depth, and ventilation volume (<i>p</i> < 0.001). Long-term follow-up (12 months) after training showed that both groups of participants showed differences in the above indicators (<i>p</i> < 0.001). After training, the VR group had higher pass proportions for mean chest compression rate (<i>p</i> = 0.047) and mean ventilation volume (<i>p</i> = 0.043) than the traditional group. Abstract
