The antioxidant and <i>in vitro</i> antibacterial activities of the product were investigated by DPPH method and agar plate diffusion method, respectively. Abstract

A new Schiff base, paeonol-[1,4-bis(3-aminopropyl)piperazine], was synthesized for the first time by the condensation reaction of paeonol and 1,4-bis(3-aminopropyl)piperazine through solution method.
