Abstract
The first national and international guidelines on anal cancer screening are now available thanks to a worldwide collaborative effort through research and data collection to provide clinicians the evidence on who should be offered screening and how to follow through on the results. Being able to provide this screening for patients will help decrease the incidence of anal cancer and promote prevention of this disease.
