However, accumulating evidence indicates that normal cerebellar development is disrupted by prematurity-associated complications causing cerebellar injury and by prematurity itself. Abstract
The role of the cerebellum in the neurodevelopmental outcomes of preterm infants has often been neglected. However, accumulating evidence indicates that normal cerebellar development is disrupted by prematurity-associated complications causing cerebellar injury and by prematurity itself.
