Abstract
Bisindolylmethane (BIM) derivatives represent an effective class of biologically active compounds. BIM derivatives were reported to exhibit antimicrobial, anticancer, antioxidant effects and many other pharmacological activities. This initiated the need for more effective, simple and rapid methods for their synthesis. Many of these methods are considered as green synthetic methods.
