Abstract—Radiation loads on the sorbent and eluent upon extraction of Cm and Am by displacement complexation chromatography from complex-composition solutions using an eluent containing DTPA and citric acid are calculated. The destruction of the eluent and sorbent in the columns is estimated. Good agreement is obtained between the calculation and experimental data on the concentrations and rate of curium band motion through the column.
