Metabolomic analysis identified 78 altered metabolites, primarily lipids, enriched in pathways including arginine biosynthesis, sphingolipid metabolism, and primary bile acid biosynthesis in BPD rats. Integration analysis revealed strong correlations between intestinal microbiota and metabolites in BPD rats.
