Career progression was viewed more favorably in the private sector (58 %) compared to the public sector (41 %). Both sectors reported similar retention issues, primarily due to heavy workloads and burnout.</div></div><div><h3>Conclusion</h3><div>Employers can improve radiographer retention by aligning their strategies with the motivations of these professionals. The appeal of the public sector is rooted in stability and comprehensive benefits, whereas the private sector attracts radiographers through flexibility, opportunities for professional development, and higher income potential.
