CT showed embolization deposits within the vertebral body, not present before the procedure.</p><p><strong>Conclusion: </strong>This unique case underscores the importance of considering vertebral body infarction as a potential complication following lumbar artery embolization. MRI was critical in early detection of the bone infarction, while CT confirmed the presence of embolization material. Abstract

Purpose: To report a rare case of isolated lumbar vertebral body infarction following lumbar artery embolization for suspected retroperitoneal haemorrhage.
