Abstract

An increase in GDH activity has been established in the first six hours after plants are exposed to hypoxic conditions, which ensures the formation of an adaptive response of cellular metabolism to the lack of oxygen in the cell. A difference in the transcriptional activity of homologous GDH-1 genes in wheat leaves under stress conditions was shown.
