The tools : Two tools for data collection were used, Nursing Staff's Perception of Professional Accountability Questionnaire and Nursing Staff' Ownership Scale. The results : More than two thirds (72.9%) of nursing staff had a high perception level of professional accountability. About half (47.0%) of nursing staff had a high level of ownership. The conclusion : There was a highly statistically significant positive correlation between nursing staff perception of professional accountability and their ownership.
