Abstract

Introduction. Situations of uncertainty in which employees find themselves during the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine often cause their negative mental states and worsen their mental health and well-being. Therefore, the analysis of tolerance to uncertainty as a determinant of educational staff's mental health and well-being is quite relevant. Aim: to design a training program to develop educational staff's tolerance to uncertainty as a determinant of their psychological health and well-being in war conditions. Methods. Psycho-educational methods and organizational, developing, and informational interactive techniques (Karamushka, 2022). Results. The tolerance to uncertainty training program to promote educational staff's psychological health and well-being in war conditions was developed. It was designed for 16 hours, consisted of an introduction, the main part and the final part and included three training sessions: "The essence of educational staff's tolerance to uncertainty", "Tolerance to uncertainty and its role in promoting the psychological health and well-being of educational staff in war conditions", "Tolerance to uncertainty factors and conditions for its development in the context of promoting the psychological health of educational staff in war conditions ". Conclusions. The training program to develop educational staff's tolerance to uncertainty as a determinant of their psychological health and well-being in war conditions is helpful in: a) developing educational staff's knowledge about the content of tolerance to uncertainty and its role in their psychological health and well-being in war conditions; b) teaching educational staff how to use different instruments to measure tolerance to uncertainty and its factors; c) developing educational staff's tolerance to uncertainty to promote their psychological health and well-being in war conditions.
