Abstract

This study aims to identify the rôle of manuscrit vérification in the development of Arabic sciences, particularly rhetoric and grammar. By examining valuable heritage books such as "Sharh Qatr Al-Nada wa-Ball Al-Sada" by Jamal al-Din Ibn Hisham al-Ansari, verified by Muhyi al-Din Abdul Hamid, "Mukhtasar al-Ma'ani" verified by Maher Muhammad Adnan Othman, and "Hashiya ala Mukhtasar al-Ma'ani" by Muhammad bin Mansour al-Shafshawni, we discovered their immense scientific value from their creation to the present day. These works represent the meticulous efforts of scholars in transmitting knowledge and beauty across generations, forming a bridge between the past and present. Their significance has ensured their fame and numerous annotations and commentaries. Our study reveals that verifying these manuscripts has opened vast horizons for researchers, reinforcing the Arab nation's role in human civilization and facilitating linguistic and rhetorical studies for beginners. It has also highlighted Arab contributions to modern scientific theories in fields such as new linguistics and jurisprudence. Heritage books still require further study to uncover their hidden treasures. Their commentaries and rhetorical writings remain a fertile ground for research, demanding modern scientific approaches to revive this heritage with a new spirit.
