The purpose of this article is to examine the problems and obstacles that exist in traditional English education from the view of Urie Bronfenbrenner's Theory of Bioecology (Five Environmental Systems) and find innovative ways to reform English education in a network environment, where opportunities and challenges are present. To further promote the integration of information technology and college English education, this article proposes suggestions such as building an information teaching platform, establishing a systematic curriculum system, providing a diverse learning environment, improving the level of information-based teaching for teachers, innovating teaching evaluation systems, innovating college English teaching concepts, and constructing a long-term mechanism for the curriculum. Abstract

The rapid development of network technology has not only affected the original teaching methods of schools but also added new vitality to the development of Chinese universities. The need for innovation in English education has been widely acknowledged, but there are still shortcomings in using digital technology to empower foreign language teaching based on the current situation of English teaching. 互联网时代背景下英语教育创新路径研究
网络技术的飞速发展不仅影响了学校原有的教学方式,也为我国高校的发展增添了新的活力。英语教育创新的必要性已被广泛认可,但基于英语教学现状,利用数字技术为外语教学赋能仍存在不足。本文旨在从乌里-布朗芬布伦纳(Urie Bronfenbrenner)的生物生态学理论(五大环境系统)出发,审视传统英语教育中存在的问题和障碍,在机遇与挑战并存的网络环境下,寻找英语教育改革的创新途径。为进一步促进信息技术与大学英语教育的融合,本文提出了构建信息化教学平台、建立系统化课程体系、提供多元化学习环境、提高教师信息化教学水平、创新教学评价体系、创新大学英语教学理念、构建课程长效机制等建议。通过这些建议的实施,高校可以极大地提高英语教学质量,提升大学生的英语水平和文化素养。
