Methodology: A quantitative research approach was adopted to evaluate the effectiveness of video assisted teaching programme on knowledge regarding breast self-examination among adolescent girls in selected higher secondary schools at Guwahati, assam. 101 adolescent girls were selected using a probability simple random sampling technique from Arya Vidyapeeth Higher Secondary School and Prachya Bharati Senior Secondary School.
