Abstract
This article examines the ambivalent stance of Latin American governments towards Russia's actions in Ukraine. Using Proyecto Élites Parlamentarias de la Universidad de Salamanca (PELA-USAL) data, it explores ideological self-placement, Putin's approval and alliance preferences among Latin American Members of Parliament, highlighting the influence of anti-imperialism and multilateralism on their international alignments and support for Russia.
