Neurologic involvement occurs in up to 40% of ECD with frequent brainstem lesions that can mimic acquired neuroinflammatory disorders, such as CLIPPERS. ECD is an important CLIPPERS mimic with distinct pathophysiology and targeted treatments. Abstract
