Abstract

Abstract: In this article, I reassess the syntax and historical significance of Phil 1:12–14 in light of recent studies reevaluating the provenance of Philippians, the meaning of τὸ πραιτώριον, the circumstances of Paul’s imprisonment, and the identity of the “saints” from “Caesar’s household” mentioned in 4:22.
