MUSICOTERAPIA Y TRASTORNO MENTAL GRAVE: UNA PROPUESTA DE INTERVENCIÓN EN CRPS ARGA Music Therapy and severe mental disorder: an intervention proposal in CRPS Arga

Abstract

La musicoterapia afecta favorablemente a las personas que padecen trastorno mental, aportando bene- ficios en áreas como la autoestima, autorrealización e imagen propia, que son aspectos fundamentales para mejorar las habilidades sociales y relaciones interpersonales y que facilitarán el proceso de integra- ción social. Es importante el trabajo con esta población, y más aún, es llevarlo a cabo dentro de un con- texto comunitario.Tras una revisión bibliográfica y mejora en el conocimiento de las características de esta población, se propone una intervención en el Centro de Rehabilitación Psicosocial Arga (CRPS Arga) del barrio de San Juan/Donibane (Pamplona). Se plantea como objetivo prioritario la integración de estas personas en la vida comunitaria del barrio, realizando actividades que van desde el trabajo más interno, con los usuarios y usuarias en el propio centro, hasta el trabajo externo, con un grupo musical formado por vecinos y vecinas, para llegar finalmente a formar parte activa de los eventos festivos y de la vida social del barrio. Para la evaluación se han escogido la hoja de registro y el cuestionario en forma de escala tipo Likert. Se puede afirmar que el desarrollo del proyecto contiene todos los elementos necesarios que permitirán la ejecución de la intervención planteada. Abstract Music therapy has a favorable effect on people suffering from mental disorders, providing benefits in areas such as self-esteem, self-realization and self-image, which are fundamental aspects to improve social skills and interpersonal relationships and will facilitate the process of social integration. It is important to work with this population, and even more important to carry it out within a community context. After a bibliographic review and improved knowledge of the characteristics of this population, an intervention is proposed in the Arga Psychosocial Rehabilitation Center (CRPS Arga) in the San Juan/ Donibane neighborhood (Pamplona). The main objective is the integration of these people in the community life of the neighborhood, carrying out activities ranging from the most internal work, with the users in the center itself, to external work, with a musical group formed by neighbors, to finally be- come an active part of the festive events and the social life of the neighborhood.The evaluation was carried out using a record sheet and a Likert-type scale questionnaire. It can be affirmed that the development of the project contains all the necessary elements that will allow the execution of the propo- sed intervention.
