Through reading various knowledge, we can get knowledge that can lead to success. This research aims to describe the teacher's strategy in increasing interest in reading the Bible among YPPGI Tagime Middle School students. The results of initial observations show that the teachers at the school are still passive in implementing strategy to increase interest in reading. The teachers at YPPGI Tagime Middle School have not actively paid attention to efforts to increase students' interest in reading. Through various fun activities for students, researchers are trying to foster students' love of reading through strategies to increase interest in reading verses. Illustrated Bible. Activities are carried out 15 minutes before learning begins. The results of the research show that through fun activities as a strategy to increase interest in reading, students become more enthusiastic and motivated to further increase their interest in reading. \nABSTRAKMembaca merupakan salah satu hal yang penting dalam segala macam proses pembelajaran. Melalui membacalah berbagai ilmu pengetahuan, yang dapat mengantarkan pada kesuksesan, bisa kita dapatkan.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan Strategi guru dalam meningkatkan minat membaca Alkitab terhadap peserta didik SMP YPPGI Tagime. Hasil observasi awal menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru pada sekolah tersebut masih pasif dalam melaksanakan strategi peningkatan minat membaca.Guru-guru di SMP YPPGI Tagime tersebut belum secara aktif memberi perhatian pada upaya peningkatan minat membaca para peserta didik.Melalui berbagai kegiatan yang menyenangkan bagi peserta didik, peneliti berusaha untuk menumbuhkan kecintaan membaca peserta didik melalui strategi peningkatan minat baca Ayat Alkitab bergambar.Kegiatan dilaksanakan 15 menit sebelum pembelajaran dimulai. Abstract
Reading is one of the important things in all kinds of learning processes. Through reading various knowledge, we can get knowledge that can lead to success.
