PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN REMAJA TENTANG DAMPAK NEGATIF PAPARAN PORNOGRAFI DI SMA NEGERI 14 PALEMBANG

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di satu sisi telah membawa dampak positif pada perkembangan kehidupan masyarakat, namun disisi lain juga membawa efek negatif pada perkembangan remaja dan anak-anak terutama pornografi. Pengabdian masyarakatberupa penyuluhan kepadaremaja bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang dampak negatif paparan pornografi pada remaja di SMA Negeri 14 Kota Palembang. Program ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 14 Palembang dengan melibatkan 22 orang siswa beserta beberapa tenaga pengajar di SMAN 14. Metode yang digunakan yaitu ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab. Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan selama 3 bulan, mulai dari persiapan sampai dengan evaluasi hasil kegiatan. Dari hasil kegiatan, diperoleh adanya peningkatan pengetahuan remaja tentang dampak negative pornografi yaitu sebelum diberikan penyuluhan rata-rata pengetahuan remaja sebesar 50 poin dan setelah diberikan penyuluhan rata-rata pengetahuan remaja menjadi sebesar 80 poin. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menambah pengetahuan dan informasi siswa mengenaidampak negative paparan pornografi dan cara menanggulanginya sehingga diharapkan para siswa dan siswi di SMA Negeri 14 Kota Palembang memiliki kesadaran untuk menjauhi pornografi.   The development of information and communication technology on the one hand has had a positive impact on the development of people's lives, but on the other hand it also has a negative effect on the development of adolescents and children, especially pornography. Community service in the form of youth awareness aims to increase knowledge and insights about the negative effects of pornographic exposure on adolescents at SMA Negeri 14 Kota Palembang. This program was carried out at SMAN 14 Palembang involving 22 students and a number of teaching staff at SMAN 14. The methods used were lectures, discussions and questions and answers. Community service is carried out for 3 months, from preparation to evaluating the results of activities. From the results of the activity, it was found that there was an increase in adolescent knowledge about the negative effects of pornography, namely before counseling the average knowledge of adolescents was 50 points and after counseling the average knowledge of adolescents was 80 points. This activity is expected to increase students' knowledge and information about the negative effects of pornography exposure and how to overcome it so that students and students in SMA Negeri 14 Palembang have awareness to stay away from pornography.
