This research used qualitative approach with case study design. In collecting the data, the researcher used questionnaire and gave to the 34 students as the respondents by purposive sampling. They were from English language program at fourth semester. The result showed that most of the students stated that they were motivated and interested in cross culture - based instruction in learning listening comprehension. Learning listening by using cross culture based instruction make them enjoyable and they can remember the new word.
