Abstract
reproduction of the natural resource basis for the development of world civilisation. It is proved that in the context of the complication of the planetary matrix, achieving the goals of sustainable development, in particular, the goals of limiting negative climate change, and the aggravation of wartime and post-war recovery challenges, it is necessary to clarify the essential characteristics and reproductive dimensions of environmental innovations as a basic component of greening production and economic activity in Ukraine. It is found that environmental innovations are represented by both product and process forms and involve the development of environmental and nature-saving innovations, modernisation of "dirty" industries, updating the production and technical base of resource consumption, introduction of modern methods of management of protected areas, as well as implementation of best practices for the development of ecosystem services produced by natural biogeocenoses. It is substantiated that the basic condition for accelerating the processes of greening production and economic activity is the formation of an institutional environment to stimulate business entities to produce and implement environmental innovations in order to reorient business models and business strategies to the use of resource-saving technologies, reduce unproductive losses of material resources and minimise the negative impact on the environment. It is established that the key to accelerating the processes of greening reproductive proportions in Ukraine is the development of a roadmap at the national level for direct and indirect state support for the implementation of various types of environmental innovations, primarily in terms of restoring residential, communal and industrial infrastructure destroyed by the Russian invaders, as well as re-engineering of biogeocenoses degraded and deformed by military operations.
