Abstract

   The article presents new information about Pyotr Frantsevich Lesgaft — a pedagogue and mentor, a follower of the traditions of his favorite teachers and professors of the Imperial Medico-Surgical Academy, his contribution to the development of the system of pedagogical upbringing and education of children in Russia.
