Abstract
Recently, several control charts have been proposed in the statistical process monitoring literature based on a belief statistic. In this article we compare the zero‐state average run‐lengths and conditional expected delay profiles of the exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) and belief statistic‐based (BSB) charts.
