Abstract

La-doped Ni-based ferrites (NiFe2O4) exhibit a single-phased cubic spinel structure. ε′ exhibits a quick decline in the low-frequency regime (upto 100 KHz) and a sluggish reduction in the high-frequency range (> 100 KHZ). Tanẟ values are found to be of the order of 10-2 . Variation in Tanẟ and ac values in D relates to conductivity. Cole-Cole plots portray a single semicircle. This points towards the contribution of resistance induced by grain boundaries.
