Purpose of the study: to examine the causes of fatigue at work among medical and other personnel in medical organizations of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Materials and methods. The information base for the analysis was the results of a sociological study of 1992 employees of medical organizations of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Questionnaire conducted was focused on determining the causes of fatigue at work. Questions were based on previous researches with republic trade union organization of medical personnel taking part in it. Survey forms were placed on medical organization sites. The causes of fatigue were studied according to age, duration of working time, total years of service and occupation. One of the indicators of dissatisfaction with a job or profession is “fatigue at work,” which more often means the presence of emotional burnout syndrome.
