Abstract

Curricular Environmental Education in schools plays a fundamental role in promoting the right to a sustainable environment. It is a concept that goes beyond simply teaching about ecology and preservation, being a process that aims to form conscious citizens, capable of understanding the interdependence as well as the integrality between human beings and the environment. Teaching about the environment is important in several aspects.
