To analyze the data, Bardin content analysis was used. Results: Structure the results, the following topics were listed in the categories: geographical access, immunization, qualified listening and gateway to the health service. In this context, the need for the implementation of strategies to expand adolescent access to APS was identified, either through the Health at School Program or by strengthening the multiprofessional team and encouraging health care culture since childhood. Abstract

Objective: This study aimed to analyze the main reasons that lead adolescents to access Primary Health Care Services (PHC) in a Sanitary District (DS) of Recife, Pernambuco.
