Abstract
Time banditry behavior is a negative extra-normative behavior, which has a negative impact on employee and organizational performance. However, it is easy to be ignored because of its strong concealment. In view of this, based on the equity theory, this study explores the influence mechanism of perceived overqualification on time banditry behavior. The results of a two-stage questionnaire survey of 430 employees show that the perceived overqualification positively affects employees' time banditry behavior; the perception of leader-member exchange relationship plays a partial mediating role in the process of perceived overqualification affecting time banditry behavior. Organizational chaxu climate positively moderates the mediating effect of leader-member exchange relationship perception.
