Abstract

Enterprises must make multiple decisions at various stages of Cloud adoption. These decisions could be strategic, such as selecting Cloud Service Providers (CSPs), and tactical, such as choosing the location for storage and processing users' data, or operational decisions regarding virtual machine selection and workload scheduling. While addressing these decision problems, enterprises need to comply with varied data regulations, aim for lower carbon footprint, and provide better quality of service to globally distributed customers with minimal operational cost.
