Information on the management activities of chief and senior nurses was analyzed; the main leadership characteristics of heads of nursing services, the essence of leadership style, leadership potential, and the ability to delegate authority were studied; the problems in the management activities of heads of nursing services were found; obvious and hidden leaders among nurse leaders were identified. Conclusion. Abstract
All specialists whose professional activities involve communicating with people, in addition to a high level of knowledge and skills, must also have some special personalit y traits. Results.
