Abstract

Odontogenic infections are constantly seen in the dental practice, being dental caries its main etiology; thus, dentists should be familiarized with its donation and operation as it can spread eetly and have serious consequences. The purpose of this article is to give essential knowledge on the pathogenesis – spread, diagnosis, possible complications and treatment of odontogenic infections.
