Evaluasi Kinerja Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak (DP3A) Kota Pekanbaru Dalam Pencegahan Pernikahan Dini

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance of the women and children empowerment office (DP3A) in Pekanbaru City in minimizing early marriage. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a type of descriptive research type. This study used purposive sampling techniques and data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of the study are not yet achieved satisfactory results to minimize early marriage. The conclusion of related agency research is less effective in minimizing early marriage so that there are still many children who marry underage due to the lack of comprehensive socialization about early marriage and there are still people who are not aware of the impact of early marriage. The contribution of this research was the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (DP3A) of Pekanbaru City.
