Abstract

The article discusses the main designs of installations for supplying a slag-forming mixture into the crystallizer of a continuous casting machine (CCM), the main classification parameters of these installations are given, and their advantages and disadvantages are considered. Analysis of these structures will allow identify promising models for further research in order to increase the level of mechanization and automation of the process of continuous steel casting.
