Relevance of Indian Ethics and Values in Management, Comparative Study between Banking in the Public and Private Domains: A Comparison of the Moral Standards Followed by Indian Public and Private Banks

Abstract

By comparing the moral standards of both private and public sector banks, this research aims to close a gap in the literature on banking ethics. This is an empirical study conducted in the Rajasthan region of India, focusing on ethical behaviors in banks from both the private and public sectors. Data for this study was gathered using a questionnaire designed specifically for a few key areas of Rajasthan and specially of Jaipur Jodhpur Udaipur. And some secondary data have also been collected from newspapers magazines and journals for the year 2017 to 2022.
