Abstract
Our study investigates the vibration of a thermoelastic nano-ceramic (Si3N4) beam exposed to a magnetic field under the effect of a moving heat source and different types of thermal loads. These nanobeams are modeled as non-Fourier heat conduction. In our formulation, the equation of motion and the principle of energy conservation from two coupled partial differential equations have been driven. A direct approach has been used to find the solutions to the governing equations using the Laplace transform definition. Numerical Laplace transform inversion was calculated using Hoing's approximation approach. Solutions have been applied to silicon nitride (Si3N4) nanobeam ceramics. Figures show the distribution of temperature increment, lateral deflection, and stress with different values of magnetic field and several thermal load parameters. In all the studied nanobeam functions, the magnetic field and several thermal loads’s parameters have significant effects. They could be used as tuners to control the vibration and temperature increment. In the present study, a moving heat source, and different thermal loads have been applied to a non-Fourier nanobeam exposed to a magnetic field. The results have been compared with those obtained in the thermoelastic cases.

Journal of Engineering Research (JER) is a international, peer reviewed journal which publishes full length original research papers, reviews, case studies related to all areas of Engineering such as: Civil, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Computer, Chemical, Petroleum, Aerospace, Architectural, Biomedical, Coastal, Environmental, Marine & Ocean, Metallurgical & Materials, software, Surveying, Systems and Manufacturing Engineering. In particular, JER focuses on innovative approaches and methods that contribute to solving the environmental and manufacturing problems, which exist primarily in the Arabian Gulf region and the Middle East countries. Kuwait University used to publish the Journal "Kuwait Journal of Science and Engineering" (ISSN: 1024-8684), which included Science and Engineering articles since 1974. In 2011 the decision was taken to split KJSE into two independent Journals - "Journal of Engineering Research "(JER) and "Kuwait Journal of Science" (KJS).
