This research aims to find out how the description of addiction and psychological dynamics in online game addicts is contained in the sub-chapters of the respondent's background, description of addiction, description of psychological dynamics consisting of: parenting assumptions, attachment style assumptions, and supporting addiction theories. This study uses a qualitative research design with research participants including online game addicts who live in Bukittinggi City, West Sumatra, totaling 2 respondents. Data were obtained from semi-structured interviews and showed the results that Subjects 1 and 2 could be classified into the category of online game addiction. Based on the results of the discussion, Subjects 1 and 2 can be classified into the category of online game addiction. The parenting pattern given by Subject 1's parents to him is a type of permissive parenting with a preoccupied attachment model.
