Data were obtained from semi-structured interviews and showed the results that Subjects 1 and 2 could be classified into the category of online game addiction. Based on the results of the discussion, Subjects 1 and 2 can be classified into the category of online game addiction. The parenting pattern given by Subject 1's parents to him is a type of permissive parenting with a preoccupied attachment model. Abstract

Online game addiction is a phenomenon that currently occurs among adolescents and adults. This research aims to find out how the description of addiction and psychological dynamics in online game addicts is contained in the sub-chapters of the respondent's background, description of addiction, description of psychological dynamics consisting of: parenting assumptions, attachment style assumptions, and supporting addiction theories.
