Abstract

Aromatic rigid ligands with carboxylate, phosphate, or pyridyl terminals are highly important today for application in the manufacturing of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), covalent organic frameworks (COFs), and other supramolecular structures. Aromatic rigid ligands give rigidity to MOFs and COFs materials.
