These findings indicate that the modulation of iNKT cells can be employed for therapeutic use or prevention of human diseases. Abstract

Invariant natural killer T (iNKT) cells, which bear αβ-type T-cell antigen-receptors (TCRs), recognize glycolipid antigens in a cluster of differentiation 1d (CD1d)-restricted manner.
