Abstract

The current trend of enthusiastically watching videos or live streams featuring individuals consuming fruit (especially watermelons) has emerged as a common behavior among the high school student population, a trend known as "melon-eating masses". And the popularity of this phenomenon has raised concerns among educators and parents about adolescent development. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate the reasons associated with the emergence of this phenomenon and the related behavioral patterns. Using the qualitative research method, this research provides an in-depth exploration of high school students fascination with the "melon-eating masses" and attempts to understand the underlying reasons that drive this interesting trend.
