Dark and slightly C-bands were observed in the centromeric regions of some chromosomes. Active Ag-NORs were detected in the telomeric region of the short arm of two pairs of chromosomes. Abstract

The karyological characteristics of nearly half of the Pseudophoxinus species in Türkiye were determined.
