Abstract

Rising temperatures, an indication of climate change, threaten outdoor workers' productivity and occupational health, especially in physically demanding jobs like forestry. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to address knowledge gaps in the forestry sector by examining the relationship between knowledge, risk perception, and precautionary behavior among pine oleoresin tappers, who work 8–12 hours per day.
