Abstract

ITER IF coils and the German WX-7 star simulator fusion reactor both use cyanate ester/epoxy resin as the matrix material for their insulation structure. The main reason is that cyanate ester/epoxy resin insulation materials have low-temperature mechanics and radiation resistance, and have extremely low rheological properties and long applicability periods.
