The study employed a cross‐sectional survey method with gender and experience as moderators. Results show that entrepreneurs' narcissism positively affects their social responsibility, while entrepreneurs' hubris negatively affects their social responsibility. Gender moderates the relationship between entrepreneurs' hubris and narcissism on PSR. Our findings suggest that personality traits (i.e., narcissism and hubris) and gender play a more critical role in an entrepreneur's tendency toward social responsibility than experience. Abstract
