Abstract
The intensity of oxidative processes and integral destruction of plankton in Volga reservoirs have been considered. Data on the seasonal dynamics and distribution of destruction in the water area of individual reservoirs and on the scale of the entire Volga cascade are provided. An assessment of the respiration losses of phytoplankton is given.
